AV 2018 Graves Blanc
This is the quintessential white varietal blend produced in the Southern Bordeaux region of 55% semillon and 45% sauvingon blanc. The aromas of white flowers and grassy notes greet the nose as a richer creamier texture of lemon curd with a long finish is extended on the palate. The Semillon varietal is known for its higher viscosity and the ability to grip onto the glass and the palate. It spends 8 months on fine lees, yeast sediment formed during fermentation, increasing complexity, fuller body, as well as stabilizing the acidity in this wine. This is a red wine lovers white wine and is known for its versatility with various foods; such as, scallops with sage, goat cheese, chicken and pork dishes.
